Welcome to the online portfolio of Heather Wait. Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she is a website designer with additional skills in illustration, print media, and graphic design. Heather has a distinct passion for her career, and is always eager to learn something new. Heather has two years of college education in Digital Multimedia Technology and Website Design, but has been personally studying website development for nearly ten years now! Waterton Glacier National Park
This site was created as a project demonstration of skills in web site development during college. This particular site uses a flex-width layout and is validated XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.1. It has been made into a showcase piece for the WTC Student Samples in the Web Design program.
Tinkertown
Tinkertown required a major update to content and layout design. A simple but vibrant site was created to better reflect it's role in Manitoba's history and culture.
Precious Preserves
This local company needed a small website to represent and sell their product. A feminine, light-hearted design matches the look and feel of the product itself.

EGOpicks Logo
The client required a previously made logo to be improved for web and print options while still keeping the original design intact. The final design was optimized for black backgrounds to match the upcoming website, however, other options were also provided for black and white or print uses.
Taurus Vector
A personal vector illustration depicting a taurus bull. The illustration was first hand drawn on paper, then reworked using Adobe Illustrator.
Lost Girl
A personal character design in Adobe Illustrator, for use as a lost child in a shopping center.
